Hometown and what it’s known for: Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.  The Battle of Bowmanville at historic POW Camp 30 was the only WWII battle fought on Canadian soil!

Craziest travel adventure: It once took me three days and five flights to get from San Diego to Toronto thanks to multiple weather delays, diversions, and equipment failures. The initial direct flight turned into San Diego -> Los Angeles -> Chicago -> New York (diverted to Charlotte NC) -> Washington DC -> Toronto!
