JOB TITLE: ALERT® Product Manager

 

We are looking for a high energy Product Manager to lead the next iteration of the Drupal and Symfony website. This includes redefining product features based on feedback, leading testing, systemizing tech support, innovating improvements that will ensure we achieve and maintain best in class status.

The ideal candidate will be a self starter and strong leader whose right and left brain compete for supremacy. Visionary thinking as well as strong analytical skills are required. You must be fully plugged into the Web 2.0 world with a broad set of product management skills, business experience and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the social web and online marketing. Candidates need a proven ability to manage a web based product, past success working with programmers (ideally Drupal and Symfony), strong knowledge of quality assurance and user experience. Excellent writing skills are mandatory as is the ability to work to deadline.

Specific responsibilities include

  • preparing an initial and final product performance report
  • creating recommendations for improvement
  • implementing improvements or leading a team to execute
  • leading site testing and turning feedback into tangible product improvements
  • creating systems for streamlining ongoing site updates

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years web product development experience.
  • Post Secondary designation related to web product development or online marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of the Internet and Social Media marketing.
  • Experience working with Drupal CMS and Symphony.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written are a must.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines.

Job Specifics

This is a contract position beginning as soon as possible. Strong potential that contract will be extended. This is a tremendous opportunity for a web product expert looking to grow with a company already fast tracking toward success.
